We are delighted to announce that JCI Malta, a youth organisation aimed at providing opportunities to young people and empowering them to create positive change, are organising a food collection for this festive season called Let’s fill up the foodbank for Christmas!
JCI Malta shall be donating all the food collected to Foodbank Lifeline on the 17th December 2018! With the Christmas season just around the corner, JCI Malta felt the need to lend a helping hand to Foodbank Lifeline Foundation in order to stock up on food supplies.
Some companies and individuals have already joined forces with JCI to participate in this awesome project, such as Calamatta Cuschieri and Ċentru Ċiviku.
As it stands, Foodbank Lifeline currently has more demand from families and individuals than supply of food. With increasing numbers of people turning to the Foodbank for help we are extremely grateful for support from JCI.
Are you interested in helping the foodbank this Christmas? Why not get your school or company involved? For the second consecutive year, the foodbank have released their Reverse Advent Calendar! All you need to do to participate is to put 24 non-perishable food items in a box, every day from the 1st to the 24th December. Every box filled will feed a family for a whole week. What are you waiting for? Grab a box and make a change this Christmas!
If you have food or a Reverse Advent Calendar to donate you can drop it off at Foodbank Lifeline in 210, Old Bakery Street, Valletta. Our HQ is open during the following hours:
Tuesday: 17:30 – 19:00
Thursday: 17:30 – 19:00
Friday: 10:00 – 12:00
Saturday: 10:00 – 12:00
However, if this is out of your reach, you could also drop off your non-perishable food items at any one of the QLZH branches located around Malta, or contact one of JCI’s members Bernard Pollaco on 7999 0125 or Francine Farrugia on 9920 2325.

Nonprofit association management software is such a valuable tool for organizations aiming to streamline their operations and focus more on their mission. It helps with everything from managing memberships and donations to automating communications and event planning. For nonprofits, having software that integrates all these functions in one platform can significantly reduce administrative work and improve engagement with supporters. Has anyone here used this type of association management software for their nonprofit? I’d love to hear how it has impacted your organization’s efficiency and outreach.
