A little coffee shop with a big ❤
Updated: Jul 18, 2019
There are people who can’t start the day without having their cup of coffee. Their love for coffee is so strong, they even identify themselves as ‘coffee addicts’. Are you one of them? If you are, we have some good news for you!
Jacob’s Brew, a coffee shop in Marsaskala have agreed to begin using their premises as a drop off point for anyone wishing to donate food items towards Foodbank Lifeline Foundation. This means that you can go enjoy a fresh (and not to mention, delicious) cup of coffee and also donate food to fight hunger in Malta.
Sarah Cachia, one of the owners at Jacob’s Brew, expressed how the work carried out by the Foodbank Lifeline Foundation is a worthy cause and by playing just a small part in helping those in need, she believes that together, we can all make a difference!
"At Jacob's Brew we have made it our mission to help families facing hard times by instigating initiatives in the name of our support group/NGO Survivors Malta funded by our profits derived from our shops revenue.” – Sarah Cachia
Jacob’s Brew opened its doors two years ago and did not wait to begin helping people. Upon launching this family-owned venture, an amazing heart-warming concept was introduced – PAY IT FORWARD.
The idea behind it is very easy to understand. Every time you go to Jacob’s Brew, you will get your receipt stamped with Jacob’s Brew’s personalised Pay It Forward stamp. This will give you the opportunity to pass this receipt to an individual, couple, or family who you feel may need support. Once those in need get a hold of this receipt, Jacob’s Brew will offer them a free pot of coffee or tea upon presentation.
Jacob’s Brew can be found at 144, Triq is-Salini, Wied il-Ghajn (https://goo.gl/maps/U39jcghfscQgvByR8) and are open every day! Opening hours are as follows:
Monday 08:30 - 14:00
Tuesday 08:30 - 18:00
Wednesday 08:30 - 14:00
Thursday 08:30 - 18:00
Friday 08:30 - 18:00
Saturday 08:30 - 18:00
Sunday 08:30 - 18:00
Foodbank Lifeline wishes to thank everyone involved who made us create a seventh distribution point around Malta. Upon opening our doors in 2015, our goal was to distribute a number of donation boxes around Malta and Gozo and we are proud to state that we are doing exactly that, having no intention to stop anytime soon!
If there is anyone who is interested in lending a helping hand towards Foodbank Lifeline’s mission in ending hunger in Malta, they can get in touch with us through email (help@foodbanklifeline.com) or via our social channels on Facebook and Instagram.
Account security deserves attention whenever someone uses an online gaming service. Choosing a strong, unique password is a simple step that can improve account protection. Users should also be careful with messages promising guaranteed big daddy game rewards or asking for confidential information. Checking the official website before following unfamiliar links is always a good idea. A useful gaming guide should explain both the basic features and the precautions people can take to protect their accounts while browsing online.
https://paypalcasinoplay.com happened to be open in another tab when the Pay It Forward stamp idea caught my attention, and I like how it turns a regular coffee run into something that can actually reach a neighbor in need. The detail about handing your receipt to someone specific makes it feel more personal than just dropping coins in a jar, though I wonder how many people actually follow through versus letting the receipt sit in their wallet. Small, low-effort gestures like that probably add up more than we expect.
Wonderful ideas for making shared spaces more welcoming. Family rooms work hardest when furniture placement, lighting, and storage are planned together. If you’re exploring living room remodeling, start by noting how your household actually uses the room each day.
Very informative post. Small layout changes can transform an older kitchen without a full gut. A reliable remodeling service near me can help you decide where to spend and where to save, based on how your family actually lives.
A bathroom renovation often involves several connected details, including surfaces, fixtures, storage, and layout. Choosing an approach that suits the home's needs is important. Homeowners considering a larger update may research bathroom remodeling contractors when planning improvements that require coordination and careful workmanship.
