We welcome all food donations so long as they are non-perishable items (no fresh food) and not past their expiry date. We have a helpful shopping list which you can download here which is based on the core items that make up our food pack.

Every penny you donate goes towards the purchase of much needed food items. Sometimes we run low on particular items faster than others, so having the ability to keep running by having our shelves stocked keeps our foodbank operational.
Please do send an email to donations@foodbanklifeline.com indicating where and how much you donated if you would like us to send you a thank you card confirmation.

Would you prefer to donate money?
We try to provide nutritionally balanced food packs including items than can provide an individual or family with a variety of food types to last one week.
Please have a look at our shopping list to see the types of items we are always looking for. All food needs to be non-perishable, so nothing fresh, please as we are not able to redistribute. Owing to safety and storage restrictions, food must be within its recommended 'sell by' or 'best before' date.
Also, please don't donate catering sized boxes and cans. We are legally not allowed to open the food and re-package and as we can only offer weekly support, catering sized containers are difficult for us to hand out. Not only this, they are also difficult for many of our clients, who might be elderly or unwell, to carry and open by themselves.

This is a list of items we need on a regular basis further up, or here is a handy downloadable version if it makes it easier for you. If you select just 1 of every item on the list, you would have helped us create a food pack for a family in need.
You can drop off food donations at our store in Marsa
(21 Triq Il-Moll Tal-Hatab/Timber Wharf) as follows:
October to July:
Monday to Thursday from 9:00am to 1:00pm
August to September:
Monday to Thursday from 8:30am to 12:30pm
(Friday closed)
We always recommend calling us beforehand on 9906 6808 to ensure we are open.
